George Daisey is a Research Scientist at Dow, Inc.  George started his career at Dow in 1985 as a co-op student then upon earning a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1988 from Drexel University, George began working for Dow in Ion Exchange Resins. He moved to the Architectural Coatings department in 1990.  In 1996, George became the Group Leader of the Exterior Exposure Program and developed a global system for entering, retrieving, and tracking exposure data. In 2002, George returned to the laboratory and has since developed expertise in coating-related polymers and additives for EIFS, air barriers, roofing, walls, sealers, stucco, and other related technologies.  George is a member of ASTM, Cool Roof Rating Council, the Philadelphia Society for Coatings Technology, and the Roof Coating Manufacturers Association. George and his wife Sherrie reside in New Jersey with their son; and they serve the community both as foster parents and volunteers helping others overcome addiction.
